As mentioned in this post, there were two major competitions for this year’s Christmas Party: The DIY Wreath and Choral Singing Competition.
There were three teams for the PascualLab Support Center:
1. HR / OD / Admin / IT / Legal / R&D
2. Finance / Accounting / DSCC
3. SCM / Audit / OTC / MRA
This one’s ours! đ If you’ve read this post, you can see every detail. Â Effort kung effort. *is proud*
And here’s Claude explaining the materials we used, how we made it, and he included the wreath’s relevance to our theme (Home for Christmas) as well.
After all three groups presented their respective wreaths, we started the singing competition. Â Since this (and the wreath contest too!) is only just an elimination round, the judges will choose one winner to compete with other partners of PascualLab đ
First group is the HR / Admin group! They sang Hark The Herald Angels Sing and Twelve Days of Christmas đ Among all the groups, they had the best costume! Notice the McDo striped socks? LOL.
Second is the Finance / Accounting / DSCC group. They performed All I Want for Christmas and Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas. I personally think they had the best performance because their outfits looked nice, they have choreography, and they even had a solo performance in the middle of the song~
Our group, of course, decided to recycle costumes too! We used the lab gowns from our Manufacturing Plant and just designed them.
We used battery-operated candles on our first song, Silent Night.  I think we did pretty good! Once I get a copy of the video, I’d share it with you! đ
We had to remove our lab gowns for the next song which is Jingle Bells. Haha! I’m so proud of our group because we started really really pitchy a few weeks ago but we definitely improved a lot.  Our voice coach (sosyal!) helped us out and we’re really happy with how it turned out.
For some reason I can’t find a ~happier~ picture.
While waiting for the results…
YAYYY WE WON!!!!!!!!! đ
For the wreath making, btw. Â We’re the ones who will represent PascualLab SC for the Christmas Party on December 11!
However (not in pictures!), the first group won the Choral Singing contest. Â I admit we were a bit heartbroken because so many people told us that we sounded really good. Â Only problem is that the judges didn’t hear us clearly because the background music was too loud! đ Mehn, they should’ve told us so we can start over. Â This happened in the pantry jsyk, and there was no one to assist us with the sound system huhu.
Anyway, happy for the winner though! At least for the next few days, we won’t have to practice after work anymore. Â Haha.
